Who answers your briefing

One senior engineer. One reply. One business day.

A briefing request on this site does not go into a queue. It goes to a senior engineer, who reads it and replies personally within one business day. This page says who that is and how we work.

Who Replies

Steve Golter, founder and senior engineer.

Doradus Labs is based in Golden, Colorado. Steve founded it and works as its senior engineer. He reads every briefing request that comes through this site and answers it himself, within one business day.

You get one reply. No sequences, no mailing lists, no handoff to sales. What you send is confidential by default, and we do not share or sell it.

The Practice

On casino floors since 2011.

The team behind the products has engineered casino IT, security, and surveillance for gaming properties since 2011, and has held master certification on Aristocrat Oasis 360 since 2011. The work covers managed IT with a 24/7 help desk, cybersecurity and compliance hardening against PCI-DSS, NIST, and gaming regulator requirements, surveillance engineering across cameras, VMS, storage, and integration, full-stack security assessment, and Aristocrat Oasis 360 support. We serve tribal Class II and Class III properties and commercial casinos.

The products come out of that practice and are held to its standard. Every product runs live at our own facilities before any customer sees it, and every product runs on your hardware, inside your perimeter.

How We Work

Rules we do not break.

  • No sales handoffs. The engineer who replies to your briefing is the engineer who scopes the work and does it.
  • Confidential by default. We do not share or sell what you tell us, and we do not add you to a mailing list. One reply, then it is your move.
  • Our own facilities first. Products run live where we work before they run where you work.
  • People stay in the loop. No product of ours takes automated action against a person, and every finding is explainable.

Ask us something hard

A briefing is a conversation with an engineer, not a pitch. Send the question you actually have. You will get one reply, from Steve, within one business day.
